All financial advice provided by ARIB is rendered in terms of the Financial Advisory and Intermediary Services (FAIS) Act, 37 of 2002. The Act exists to protect consumers of financial products and to professionalise the financial advice industry.
Under FAIS, we are required to act with due skill, care, and diligence, in the interests of our clients and the integrity of the financial services industry. We maintain the required professional indemnity cover, adhere to the General Code of Conduct, and keep records as required by law.
Before providing advice, we will disclose any actual or potential conflicts of interest, the basis on which we are remunerated, and the nature of our relationship with relevant product providers.
Adams Risk and Investment Brokers collects, uses, and stores personal information in compliance with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA). We collect only what is necessary to provide financial advice and services.
Your personal information is never sold to third parties. It is shared only with product providers where necessary to implement your financial plan, and only with your knowledge and consent.
